Survey: Net keeps growing
9/20/99, Jennifer Mack, ZDNN. Internet market research group NetRatings said Monday more than 66 million people went online during August, a 6.5 percent increase over July's online population. The 66 million figure represents an 11.5 percent increase in the number of unique Web visitors, compared to August 1998. The total number of people with Internet access now exceeds 108 million.
